100 years after Hamilton Carhartt established his business in Detroit in 1989, Edwin Faeh started importing a small collection of the iconic American workwear to Europe. In ’97, he was granted the license to create his own interpretation of OG Carhartt pieces, and Carhartt WIP was born. Since then, Carhartt WIP has launched its own skate team and music department and collabed with everyone from Converse to Vetements to A.P.C. Now its truly a movement unto itself.
