FPAR was started in 1993 by Tetsu Nishiyama (TET), who is also the man behind WTAPS.

This classic Ura-Harajuku brand draws inspiration from punk DIY aesthetics of the 1980s, and is easily recognized through the powerful and witty slogans, echoing the brands manifest: "To sabotage the fabricated information regulated by massmedia using immediately effective forms of expression"
