CALIROOTS IS CELEBRATING 2O YEARS THIS YEAR.

In 2003 the first Caliroots store opened on a backstreet of downtown Stockholm. It was the brainchild of Andreas Koschnike that had worked in sales in Northern Europe with streetwear brands from California such as XLARGE, FRESHJIVE and STUSSY.

The store had a lot of focus on Californian brands, but also other brands from all over the world that would fit the vibe. The store was one of the first to not be a “skate”, “urban” or “fashion” store but mixing all things cool, not limiting itself to only clothing and shoes but also books, designer toys and art.

In connection to the anniversary we've made a merch collection, and as a part of an upcycling project (more to come) we are turning old garments into new - for this one we used a favourite; Black Swims.
